Burr & Forman's Vivien Monaco To Serve A Second Term On The Greater Orlando Builders Association Board of Directors
Orlando, Fla., November 11, 2015 - Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Vivien J. Monaco has been named to the board of directors for the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA). Monaco will serve her second term as the association's Osceola Chapter Representative on the board. Additionally, Monaco will lead the Government Affairs and Oversight Committee as Chair.
As a member of the board of directors, which serves as the governing body of the association, Monaco will assist in establishing policy, direction and objectives for the organization.
Monaco was officially installed on November 5, 2015 at GOBA's "Building the Future" meeting at The Mezz in Orlando, Fla.
At Burr & Forman, Monaco serves as Counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group with a focus on serving public and private real estate clients in areas related to land use, zoning, growth management, and environmental law. This focus includes assisting clients with matters relating to land entitlements, development permitting, transportation, impact fee, and other local government-related issues. She is a Florida Bar board-certified lawyer in City, County and Local Government Law.
The Greater Orlando Builders Association represents and promotes the building industry within Central Florida. The association organizes educational programs to encourage higher standard practices throughout the industry. In addition, the association monitors and takes a proactive role in governmental and regulatory activities that impact the construction industry.
