Burr Welcomes Andy Ames to Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Team

Burr & Forman is pleased to welcome Andy Ames to the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy practice group as a staff attorney in the Chicago office.

Andy has represented clients in bankruptcy, mass-tort, and insurance matters, with experience advocating for clients in U.S. district courts and federal bankruptcy court. 

Prior to Burr, Andy served as an assistant attorney general with the Illinois Office of the Attorney General, where he represented the state in workers' compensation claims. While earning his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, he conducted research on bankruptcy law and gained experience supporting attorneys and clients as a law clerk and legal compliance intern.

Andy earned his B.S. in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University.
