With more than 25,000 members and 32 general committees, TIPS unites plaintiff, defense, insurance and corporate counsel to advance the civil justice system in one of the ABA's largest sections. Hew's one-year term begins on August 12.

At Burr & Forman, Hew manages a general civil practice, handling a range of litigation cases, alternative dispute resolution and appellate matters. She is a certified Florida Circuit and County Court Mediator and Arbitrator. Hew's previous leadership roles have spanned a number of local and national organizations, including the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Central Florida Gay and Lesbian Law Association, the Federal Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association, the Junior League of Greater Orlando, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Winter Park and East Orlando Chamber of Commerce.
