Burr's Melinda Sellers Appointed Chair of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers' Common Interest Ownership Committee
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Birmingham Partner Melinda Sellers has been appointed Chair of the Common Interest Ownership Committee of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers ("ACREL").
As Chair, Melinda leads the committee's efforts to advance real estate law and practice in the area of condominium, planned community, and other types of common interest ownership. The committee serves both the public and real estate bar by addressing emerging legal issues in these communities while supporting ACREL Fellows through the publication of recent developments, contributions to college programming, and by providing a forum for discussion on matters impacting common interest ownership. Her appointment reflects both her depth of experience in this area and her active engagement within the community.
