Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Reid S. Manley has been chosen to the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers. This honor is granted to attorneys who have made significant contributions to the field of law. According to the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers, the college was established to "promote public understanding of consumer financial services law through education, advance the quality of consumer financial services law and its practice, enhance the professional development of its members, and accord recognition to contributors to the field."

Reid represents consumer finance and mortgage companies throughout the country. He has defended clients in single plaintiff cases, as well as mass actions and class actions filed by consumers. Reid also represents mortgage companies and correspondent lenders in repurchase and/or make-whole disputes. He also handles general commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.

John R. Chiles, Managing Partner of Burr's Fort Lauderdale office, is also a member of the college.
