The Birmingham Business Journal states that the award is given to "honor the talented and innovative human resource directors and executives who are helping Birmingham companies create great workplace environments for their employees."

Cathy was honored, along with all of the city's Top HR Innovators, at an awards ceremony that was held on October 30^th. Additionally, she will be featured in the October 31^st edition of the Birmingham Business Journal.
