Jennifer Blumenthal Receives Distinguished Lawyer Award from SC Bar Corporate, Banking & Securities Law Section
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Jennifer Blumenthal has been selected by the South Carolina Bar Corporate, Banking & Securities Law Section Council to receive the Section’s Distinguished Lawyer of the Year Award. Jennifer was nominated and selected by her professional peers in recognition of her contributions to the practice of corporate and banking law in South Carolina.
The South Carolina Corporate, Banking & Securities Law Section honored Jennifer with the award during the annual South Carolina Bar Convention on Friday, January 23, in Savannah, Georgia.
The purpose of the Section is to promote the goals and objectives of the South Carolina Bar in the areas of corporate, banking, and securities law, including stimulating research and development, seeking uniformity in legislation and administration, and improving the application of justice in these fields.
Jennifer focuses her practice on corporate, banking, and business transactions, including commercial lending, real estate finance, UCC secured transactions, and loan workouts. She advises clients on complex financing and development matters, frequently serves as local counsel in multi-state transactions, and represents financial institutions, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities, including municipal utilities.
