Prysmian Group North America, an electrical cable manufacturer, recently announced it is expanding its existing operations in Abbeville County by investing an additional $14 million and creating ten new jobs.

The facility is located on S.C. Highway 28 and was the first to produce extra-high voltage cables in North America. Prysmian will be expanding the facility and purchasing additional equipment to fulfill future renewable energy projects, such as wind farm operations.
