Mobile Partner Bill Wasden Honored as One of TROY's Alumni of the Year
Mobile Partner Bill Wasden was honored during Troy University's Homecoming as one of TROY's Alumni of the Year.
"Bill Wasden is an amazing lawyer, a distinguished citizen, and a phenomenal mentor. He continues to represent the best in all of us. We are proud to call him our partner and fortunate to have him as a friend.," said Ricardo Woods, Managing Partner of Burr and Forman's Mobile office.
TROY's Alumni of the Year honor recognizes Troy University alumni who, true to the Trojan spirit, are making a difference through service to their communities, their careers, and their alma mater. Bill is a 1978 graduate of Troy University.
"This is a well-deserved honor for one of TROY's most distinguished alumni, one who has devoted many years of service in giving back to the university. Please congratulate this great Troy Trojan.," said Forrest Latta, Partner in the firm's Mobile office.
Bill Wasden's practice includes a concentration in employment law, representing employers in a wide variety of matters ranging from advisory guidance in single-employee investigations and discipline issues to compliance issues involving larger employee groups under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act in layoffs and reductions in force. In adversarial matters, Bill has represented national employers before the EEOC and in various litigated actions in state and federal courts throughout the firm's three-state practice area along the coast.
