Mobile Partner Ricardo Woods has been elected Second Vice President of DRI – The Association of Lawyers Defending Business. He will assume the role of President of DRI in 2028. 

DRI is largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation. It provides its members with access to valuable resources, educational opportunities, and professional development tools designed to support attorneys who deliver high-quality, balanced, and effective service to their clients and corporations.

Ricardo previously served as Secretary/Treasurer of DRI and has held several leadership positions within the organization, including National Director, Chair of the Diversity Committee, and member of the Product Liability and Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Committees. A defense trial lawyer in the firm's Administrative, Government and Regulatory practice group, Ricardo focuses on product and toxic tort liability, insurance litigation, and government liability. Beyond his legal practice, he has served as a leader in the Mobile community through organizations such as 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Mobile United, and Prichard Preparatory School.
