Wess Helton Selected for Palmetto Venture Fellowship

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Charleston Associate Wess Helton has been selected to join the Palmetto Venture Fellowship Class of 2025.

The Palmetto Venture Fellowship is an annual program designed to educate and prepare investors to improve capital availability for companies based in South Carolina. Each year, selected fellows participate in a year-long program featuring a top-tier educational curriculum tailored to deepen their understanding of early-stage investing. Now in its fourth year, the Palmetto Venture Fellowship offers an in-depth workshop series that immerses participants in the complexities of early-stage capital formation.

Wess is a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group, where he focuses on general corporate and business transactional law, with an emphasis on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. In addition, Wess advises clients on debt and equity financings, including representing borrowers in a range of energy and infrastructure transactions.
