Overview
Danica is a partner in the firm’s Construction & Project Development practice group. Her practice focuses on construction, commercial, real estate and insurance coverage litigation. She regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, and arbitration forums. Her litigation experience includes construction and design defects, landlord-tenant matters, contract and payment disputes, lien enforcement, title and boundary conflicts, contractor licensing, restrictive covenant enforcement, and corporate governance disputes. In addition to her litigation work, Danica advises general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers on the negotiation, drafting, and review of construction contracts—helping clients proactively safeguard their interests from the outset of each project. Danica has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®: “Ones to Watch” for her work in commercial litigation since 2022.
A native of Columbia, Tennessee, Danica earned her B.A. in Economics and Business Management from Samford University, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Brock School of Business Academic Medal. She earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Outside of her legal practice, Danica enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their daughter, Emma.
