Overview

Gary R. Preston serves as Counsel in the Tampa office of Burr & Forman, LLP as a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group.

Gary focuses on various types of commercial and residential transactions, including real estate property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing. Gary has previously served as in-house counsel to major financial institutions and has extensive experience handling corporate property matters throughout the United States, as well as commercial and real estate lending and loan workouts. Gary also has extensive experience handling the acquisition, financing and leasing of retail shopping centers and single-tenant, net-leased properties for a private equity firm.

Gary earned his J.D. with honors at Florida State University College of Law, where he was member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Prior to studying law, Gary attended the University of Florida, where he earned his B.S.B.A, with a major in Real Estate.
