Leesa is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group.
Leesa represents diverse clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes. She has extensive litigation experience through her representation of nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and personal care homes in litigation related to liability claims, particularly in complex litigation involving claims arising from COVID-19, as well as regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Leesa obtained her J.D. from Mercer University where she graduated second in her class. She received the “Rusty Gunn” Award for her strength, intelligence, and good humor in leadership, the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing, and several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. She was also served as the Moot Court Chair for the Mercer Advocacy Council.
