Overview
Olivia Lane is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice.
She has worked extensively with the group, previously operating as an IP assistant and legal extern. During these periods, Olivia provided ancillary support by filing trademark proceedings with the USPTO, communicating with clients throughout the trademarking process, and conducting IP-related research using various state- and national-level trademark databases. As a summer clerk in the Birmingham office, Olivia expanded her work to other practice groups and co-authored articles on data privacy and trade secret security.
While earning her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, Olivia served as Outreach Chair for the school’s OUTLaw organization and was also a member of the AI Law, Business Law, and Women in Law societies.
Olivia earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Business Marketing and Art History from Rhodes College.
