Travis Hughes represents commercial landlords, tenants, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. His practice focuses on the drafting and negotiation of contracts involving existing real estate assets, including leases, amendments, and license agreements.

With more than a decade of experience, Travis has advised publicly traded companies, privately held corporations, joint ventures, franchise owners, small businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. He has represented owners of more than 100 office buildings and negotiated over 1,000 commercial lease-related agreements covering a broad range of asset types, including office, retail, restaurant, fitness, and childcare facilities.

In addition to leasing matters, Travis regularly handles agreements related to the acquisition, management, and disposition of commercial property, including purchase and sale agreements, property and asset management agreements, construction contracts, and related ancillary documents.

Before joining Burr & Forman, Travis led his own boutique commercial real estate law practice and previously served as in-house counsel for a major private equity firm, gaining experience in large-scale real estate investments.
