Overview
Will Comey is an attorney in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Will prioritizes responsiveness and accessibility and believes that strong client relationships are built on being available when it matters.
Before joining Burr, Will served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Debra R. McCaslin of South Carolina’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary Geiger Lewis of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
While earning his J.D., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, Will clerked at Burr & Forman’s Hilton Head Island office, where he prepared memoranda for Real Estate practice group attorneys and assisted with commercial closings.
In the classroom, Will earned CALI Awards in Sales, Transportation Law, and English Legal History. He was also a member of the Moot Court Bar and served as an Honor Council Representative.
Will earned his B.A. in Political Science from Union College.
Will lives in Charleston with his fiancée, Claudia, and enjoys traveling, surfing, and playing tennis.
