J.P. practices with the firm's Corporate & Tax Group. His business law practice focuses on general corporate matters along with mergers and acquisitions.
J.P. represents clients in a variety of corporate matters including mergers, acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and daily contract issues.
Prior to law school, J.P. worked at UAB as a lab tech, overseeing the growth of genetically modified algae for use as a biofuel. As well, he volunteered as an assistant to the land steward of a local land trust, helping to monitor the environmental quality of the properties in their management.
J.P. received his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School. While there he worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Daniel Gervais on his textbook, (Re)structuring Copyright: A Comprehensive Path to International Copyright Reform.
