Burr & Forman Advises Techo-Bloc on Expansion into South Carolina
Techo-Bloc Corp., a United States corporation and a leading supplier of landscaping products, has announced plans to establish its first South Carolina facility in Lexington County. The $45 million investment is expected to create 46 new jobs.
The company specializes in manufacturing premium hardscape products for both residential and commercial outdoor spaces. With a workforce of more than 850 employees, Techo-Bloc distributes its products to over 900 retail locations across the United States and Canada. While well-established in the United States with several other facilities, this will be the companies first manufacturing facility in the Southeast.
The new facility, to be constructed on Dixiana Road in Cayce, will produce a range of hardscape materials, including pavers, slabs, and retaining walls.
John Wall served as lead legal counsel for the project, with Tim Zwerner, assisted by Matt Modelski and Chris MacMurray, overseeing the real estate work. Joe Owens oversaw zoning matters, Jeff Allen advised on tax incentives, Nanette Edwards handled regulatory issues, and Chad Johnston advised on environmental permits for the project.
