Firm News

Jacksonville, Fla., April 4, 2016 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the continued expansion of its Jacksonville office with the addition of Gregory F. Lunny as a partner and Rachel C. Cocciolo as an associate in the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice.

Their arrival supports the firm's strategic growth plan to expand its Jacksonville office, which opened in January. With Lunny and Cocciolo, Burr & Forman now has nine attorneys in Jacksonville and 70 across Florida.

"As we steadily grow our presence in Jacksonville, we are excited about the opportunity to add a top notch, experienced lawyer like Greg Lunny and a rising star like Rachel to our office," said Adrian Rust, managing partner of Burr & Forman's Jacksonville office. "Since opening the firm's doors in January, we continue to receive positive feedback from clients in Jacksonville and around the state who rely on the firm's industry strengths in financial institutions, real estate, health care and manufacturing."

Lunny's practice includes business litigation, intellectual property, products liability, lender liability defense, class actions, regulatory compliance, construction litigation, governmental and land use litigation, and the restructuring and enforcing of commercial inventory-based loans and real estate loans. He also has a nationwide medical implant products liability practice and an active international business transaction practice. Lunny has extensive trial experience in both Florida and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration experience.

Lunny earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1987 and his law degree from the University of Florida in 1990. Prior to joining Burr & Forman, he was a partner at Rogers Towers, P.A. in Jacksonville, which he joined upon graduating from law school.
