Burr & Forman Expands Mobile Office with Robert Shreve

Mobile, Ala., Feb. 17, 2017 - Burr & Forman announces the addition of Robert Shreve as an associate to its Mobile, Ala. office. Shreve joins the firm's Tort Trial & Insurance practice, counseling clients involved in matters related to personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death and complex civil litigation. While based in Alabama, Shreve is also licensed to practice in Florida, boosting Burr & Forman's tort, trial and insurance capabilities in a key growth market for the firm.

Robert brings experience in every phase of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, defense of the initial complaint, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations and trial.

Outside of the firm, Shreve is active in a number of professional volunteer roles. He currently serves as treasurer on the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee, as District Representative for the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division, and on the Young Lawyers Section's Board of Directors for the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Shreve is a previous vice-chair in the Young Lawyers Division Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Committee.

Shreve earned his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
