Burr & Forman is pleased to announce Thomas W. Scroggins has joined the firm as a Partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group.

Tom comes to Burr with over 20 years of experience in labor relations, employment defense litigation, and compliance counseling. Tom regularly advises employers during union avoidance campaigns, negotiates collective bargaining agreements, and designs policies for local, regional, national, and international employers.

“The addition of Tom to our labor relations team bolsters our ability to represent clients across the country who are currently confronted with all types of union organizing activity,” said Marcel Debruge, head of Burr’s labor relations and automotive manufacturing industry teams. “We have known and worked with Tom for a long time and are excited to have him join us.”

Tom earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. He previously practiced at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP
