Burr & Forman Welcomes Brandon Boykin to Charlotte Office
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Boykin to its Charlotte office in the General Commercial Litigation practice group as counsel.
“We are excited to welcome Brandon to our team in Charlotte,” said Chad Thorson, managing partner of the firm’s Charlotte office. “His background as a federal prosecutor and his extensive trial experience will be tremendous assets to our clients as we continue to expand our litigation capabilities in the region.”
Brandon represents clients in a wide range of business disputes and brings more than a decade of trial and investigative experience as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina. In that role, he managed complex criminal and civil matters, including white-collar investigations, financial fraud cases, and matters involving national security. He routinely tried jury and bench trials to verdict, developed litigation strategies for high-stakes cases, and negotiated complex case resolutions.
Brandon’s background includes leading multi-agency initiatives, conducting in-depth legal research, and coordinating with law enforcement partners across jurisdictions. He has extensive experience preparing lay and expert witnesses, creating evidentiary presentations, and handling sensitive investigations involving money laundering, wire fraud, and other financial crimes.
Brandon earned his J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, and his B.A. from Furman University.
