Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Chris Burkhalter has joined the firm’s Birmingham office as counsel in the General Commercial Litigation practice group.

Chris focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters and has experience managing litigation teams and handling all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, client communications, coordination with opposing counsel and multiple co-counsels, and drafting and revising briefs.

He has argued motions in federal court and has prepared trial and appellate briefs in both state and federal courts. Chris’s experience includes drafting dispositive motions, discovery motions, Daubert motions, pleadings, and applications for temporary restraining orders and injunctive relief.

Chris earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, his M.Ed. from Auburn University, and his B.S. from Troy University.
