Burr & Forman Welcomes Financial Services Litigation Attorney Cole Hodge
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce the addition of Cole Hodge to its Fort Lauderdale office. He joins the Financial Services Litigation practice group as an associate.
“Cole brings valuable experience in both financial services litigation and complex commercial disputes,” said Matt Mitchell, leader of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation practice group. “His knowledge of consumer protection statutes and regulatory compliance will strengthen the services we provide to clients across the financial industry.”
Cole represents financial services providers, including banks, loan servicers, mortgagees, and auto and manufactured housing lenders, in commercial and financial services litigation, including class actions. He has experience with matters involving lender liability and federal consumer protection statutes such as RESPA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and TILA, as well as advising clients on regulatory compliance, default and collection procedures, and servicing processes. He also represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, negligence, tortious interference, and shareholder issues.
Cole earned his J.D. from The University of Tennessee College of Law and his B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University.
