Overview
Cole Hodge represents financial services providers, including banks, loan servicers, mortgagees, and auto and manufactured housing lenders, in commercial and financial services litigation, including class actions. He has particular experience with matters involving lender liability and federal consumer protection statutes such as RESPA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and TILA. Cole also advises clients on regulatory compliance, default and collection procedures, and servicing processes.
In addition to his financial services work, Cole represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, negligence, tortious interference, and shareholder disputes. He manages a broad caseload in both federal and state courts, as well as in administrative and arbitration proceedings.
Cole takes pride in staying a step ahead of the opposition. He is known for spotting legal issues early and developing strategies that anticipate potential challenges, especially in matters with complex or novel fact patterns.
