Burr & Forman Welcomes Tala Woods as Counsel
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Tala Woods has joined the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group as counsel.
Tala focuses her practice on public finance and corporate law, advising governmental and non-governmental entities on a wide range of financing transactions, including tax-exempt and conduit financings. Her experience includes working with public entities, nonprofit organizations, and private clients on complex bond and financing matters, as well as counseling clients on general corporate issues, including mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financing.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Tala practiced public finance and business law for more than a decade. Earlier in her career, she served as an investment portfolio manager for the trust company of a large national banking association. Tala earned her J.D. and B.S. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the University of Florida.
