Burr & Forman's John Browning Appointed Vice Chair of the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Committee for ABA

November 1st, 2017 - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Mobile Partner John Browning has been appointed as Vice-Chair for the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers General Committee for the TIPS section of the American Bar Association. Browning will serve a one-year term beginning in October 2017 through the ABA's 2018 Annual Meeting next August in Chicago. The TIPS section of the ABA consists of more than 20,000 members across the U.S.

At Burr & Forman, John is a litigator in the firm's Torts Trial & Insurance Practice Section. John specializes in a variety of legal topics including toxic torts, engineering and mechanical defects, construction defects, motor vehicle accidents, trucking/commercial auto, work site accidents, product defects, dram shop/social host, and premises liability. He also advises several small and medium sized businesses on a variety of day-to-day legal matters.

John has also served on the Editorial Board for several TIPS' section publications, including The Brief Magazine and the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Journal.
