Chip McQueeney Selected for Riley Institute's Diversity Leaders Initiative
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Chip McQueeney has been selected to join the Lowcountry class of the Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI) for Fall 2025.
For over 20 years, the Furman University Riley Institute’s award-winning DLI program has equipped leaders with the tools and perspectives needed to leverage the unique skills and insights of their employees to improve organizational outcomes and drive growth. Carefully selected, established leaders from all sectors of South Carolina society, nominated by DLI alumni and invited to apply, take part in DLI, which offers a unique, highly interactive curriculum that imparts deep knowledge and skills to effectively manage, lead, and serve a wide array of workers, clients, and constituents.
Chip currently serves as counsel in the firm’s Charleston office and practices within the General Commercial Litigation practice group. He works with clients on a variety of matters, including real estate purchase and sale contracts, development agreements, planned unit developments, and easement agreements.
Chip serves as counsel to numerous public entities in South Carolina, assisting them with various real estate transactions. Additionally, he advises on municipal matters involving zoning, real estate, environmental permitting, and land development.
Upon completing the program, Chip will join over 2,900 exceptional leaders creating social and economic progress across South Carolina. Past Burr & Forman DLI participants include Adam Artigliere, Pamela Baker, and Michael Seezen.
