Birmingham, Ala., August 1, 2016 - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Birmingham-based Partner Reid S. Manley was re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC). The election was held at the 2016 Annual Meeting at the Fairmont Le Manior Richelieu, La Malbaie, Quebec in Canada.

This will be Manley's second term to serve on the Board of Directors for the FDCC. The FDCC is an invitation-only organization that consists of accomplished defense attorneys, corporate counsel, and insurance industry executives who have achieved professional distinction during their careers.

At Burr, Manley represents consumer finance and mortgage companies throughout the country. He has defended clients in single plaintiff cases, as well as mass actions and class actions filed by consumers. Additionally, Manley represents mortgage companies and correspondent lenders in repurchase and/or make-whole disputes. He also handles general commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.
