Burr & Forman is pleased to congratulate Partner Robert Shreve on his appointment as City Attorney for the City of Mobile.

A Mobile native, Robert represents clients across the maritime, construction, manufacturing, insurance, and health care industries and regularly counsels municipal clients on litigation, employment, and economic development matters. He has an active litigation practice throughout Alabama and Florida and is known for providing practical, efficient solutions to complex legal challenges.

Robert will continue his practice as a partner with Burr while serving as City Attorney. He succeeds longtime City Attorney and Burr Partner Ricardo Woods, who, after more than 12 years in the role, will transition into a position focused on policy and economic development while remaining a key member of the mayor's leadership team.

Robert has been selected for the Alabama State Bar's Leadership Forum and named a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation.

As City Attorney, Robert will help guide legal strategy and advise city leadership on matters affecting the future of Mobile. His appointment reflects Burr's longstanding commitment to serving the communities where its attorneys live and work, bringing practical legal counsel and trusted leadership to clients and public institutions alike.
