Zayn Mohamed Recognized with University of South Florida’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award
Tampa Staff Attorney Zayn Mohamed has been named a recipient of the University of South Florida’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award, which recognizes alumni age 35 and younger for innovation, leadership, and career success.
Established in 2004, the award honors up to 10 recipients annually and celebrates the accomplishments of USF’s emerging leaders while encouraging continued engagement with the university community.
Zayn is an intellectual property and life sciences attorney who advises clients on IP protection, licensing, regulatory compliance, and litigation involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He also provides guidance on FDA and state regulatory matters across medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biologics, and has experience handling disputes involving product liability, medical malpractice, and complex medical issues.
In addition to his legal practice, Dr. Mohamed is a resident interventional radiologist and active in mentorship, scholarship, and professional organizations, bringing a dual medical-legal perspective shaped by his M.D./J.D. training.
