Overview
Andy Ames is a staff attorney in Burr’s Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy practice group.
His experience includes advocating for clients in bankruptcy, mass-tort, and insurance matters. Recognized as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star,” Andy is a trusted advisor, representing clients in both U.S. district courts and federal bankruptcy court.
As a former Assistant Attorney General to the Illinois Attorney General, Andy represented the state in workers’ compensation claims. While earning his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, he conducted research on bankruptcy law and supported attorneys and clients as a law clerk and legal compliance intern.
Andy earned his B.S. in Human Development and Family Science from the Ohio State University in 2017.
