Taylor A. Johnson

Taylor Johnson is a litigation associate in the firm’s Transportation, Insurance, and Product Section practice group. Leveraging his deep knowledge of industry-specific labor laws and research experience, he is a dependable advocate for his clients, both in and out of court, navigating the complexities of legal disputes at every stage with informed judgment.

Taylor’s representative experience includes clients in the railroad and construction industries, as well as contractors and business owners, in matters related to personal injury and wrongful death, including under the Federal Employers' Liability Act and the Federal Railroad Safety Act. In addition, Taylor has litigated cases in commercial real estate, the automobile industry, and healthcare, handling matters in insurance defense, premises liability, and medical malpractice. He has authored successful briefs in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. 

Taylor earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Samford University Cumberland School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Auburn University. While in law school, he served as editor for the Cumberland Law Review and received several recognitions as a Moot Court competition participant and team member, including Best Oralist and Best Brief awards.

Outside of his law practice, Taylor is passionate about uplifting the next generation of attorneys, serving as an ACT tutor and an essay-writing competition sponsor.
