Burr & Forman Represents Adeptus USA in Establishing First South Carolina Facility

Firm News

Adeptus USA, a wood products manufacturer, has announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operation in Anderson County. The company's $215.56 million investment is expected to create 217 new jobs.

The new facility, located in Honea Path, will manufacture value-added and processed pine wood products for a range of building products and millwork applications, including painted and primed moulding, boards, shiplap, and various panel products and grades. Operations are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027.

The project was announced by the South Carolina Department of Commerce, which noted that the Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits related to the project and awarded an $850,000 Closing Fund grant to Anderson County to assist with the costs of building improvements.

John Wall led the Burr & Forman team, with Jeff Allen, Allison Twiford, and Ryan Werner supporting the overall state and local incentives for the project.
