Overview
Isabella Capanna is an associate in the firm’s Construction & Project Development practice group. She advises clients on government and commercial contracts, project compliance, and risk management throughout all stages of the construction lifecycle.
Before joining Burr & Forman, Isabella served as legal counsel at a global government and commercial services contractor, where she negotiated complex agreements, provided guidance on regulatory compliance, and managed internal investigations. She also oversaw litigated workers’ compensation claims and managed ethics matters involving data privacy and insider trading.
Isabella earned her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where she concentrated in Government Procurement Law and gained practical experience through The Vaccine Injury Litigation Clinic and a clerkship with the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Sociology and Psychology, with a minor in Italian, from Wake Forest University.
